We are capable!!

Every Monday, we prepare our picnic for our hike.  Not only are we developing crucial motor skills, learning to follow steps and recipes, but also working as a team and community.  Any and all ideas for simple yet fun and delicious picnic recipes welcome!!

  1. APPLE COOKIES
    Serves 8 cookies

    1 apple
    1/4 cup peanut butter
    1/4 cup almonds, sliced
    1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
    1/4 cup shredded coconut
    1/4 cup chocolate chips

    Slice apple into thin rings and remove core. Spread peanut butter over one side of ring. Top with almonds, walnuts, coconut, and chocolate chips.

  2. Nutella and Banana Sushi
    Ingredients needed: (per roll)
    -Nutella – 1tbs
    -1 Banana
    -Wholeweat Wrap
    Step 1
    Lay your wrap on a bread board and slater with nutella
    Step 2
    Place the banana on top of your chocolate coating
    Step 3
    Roll the wrap as you would Sushi (or a Burrito)
    Step 4
    Cut into 2cm sections and enjoy!
